All gymnasts in our GymZone and NinjaZone classes are invited to take part in Club Champs!

It’s all about having fun, trying your best, and feeling proud of what you’ve achieved! We’ll also present: 1st-6th place ribbons for each apparatus (GymZone) or circuit (NinjaZone) Overall medals for 1st-3rd place Overall ribbons for 4th-6th place in each session While not everyone will receive a placement award, every participant will still be recognised and celebrated with a medal and a Jets gift.
  • Can routines be practiced at home?
Absolutely! There’s a link on our Club Champs page where you can download a PDF of the routines. That said, you don’t need to practice at home - we’ll be teaching all the routines during class, and gymnasts will have plenty of support. If you do choose to practice at home, please make sure to only work on skills you can safely perform without spotting or assistance. Be sure you're in a safe environment with appropriate space, surfaces, and equipment.
  • How do GymZone and TNT gymnasts know what routines to perform?
They'll learn their routines during class in the lead-up to the event. While they can practice at home, it’s absolutely not required. Coaches will be the judges on the day and will be there to guide gymnasts through their routines. The routines are based on each gymnast’s current coloured level, so they’re already familiar with the skills. Club Champs is an exciting and fun event that celebrates every gymnast’s progress and participation!
  • Do I have to pay to enter my child?
Yes, there is a $59 entry fee per gymnast. This covers all event-related costs, including participation awards and a special Jets giveaway!
  • Is there a deadline for booking?
Yes, gymnast entries strictly close on Friday, June 13th. Spaces may be limited, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot. Spectator tickets will be available for purchase up until the event day, or until sold out.
  • Do I need to pay for a sibling to watch?
No need to buy tickets for children aged 0-10, as long as they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap or on the floor. If you have children participating in different sessions, you’ll need to purchase tickets for them to watch. Each gymnast’s entry fee includes one free spectator ticket, which must be claimed online. Simply use the code FLIPPINGFUN at checkout to get your free ticket. Additional tickets are available for $9 each, until sold out.
  • Can my child participate if they've just started at Jets?
No worries if you're new - everyone's welcome! Whether it’s your child’s first time or they’ve participated before, all gymnasts will be doing the White Level routines. Our coaches will be there every step of the way to support and cheer everyone on!
  • What do Ninjas do?
Our Ninjas compete in timed performances, aiming to earn as many points as possible! Everyone starts at zero and gains points for each skill or obstacle they complete or attempt. Each skill is worth a different number of points, based on its difficulty level. The Ninja with the highest total score at the end of the competition will be crowned our Ninja Club Champ!
  • How do I pay/how do you charge?
Our membership fees are processed through monthly direct debit. To enrol in any class, you’ll need to have your credit or debit card (Visa or Mastercard) details saved on file. Fees will be automatically debited on the 15th of each month, or the next business day. A 30-day written notice is required for direct debit or membership cancellations.
  • Why hasn’t my child passed a new level?
Each level typically takes between 6 to 12 months or even longer to complete, depending on the individual child. Our classes are designed to support each child's unique journey, recognising that children develop socially, emotionally, and physically at different rates, which can affect their progress in gymnastics. Lower levels might be achieved more quickly, while higher levels take more time due to increased difficulty. Higher-level skills require greater flexibility, strength, and coordination. To learn more about your child’s development and progress, we encourage you to chat with their coach before or after class or check out the “evaluation” section through your Jets account.
  • Do we need to stay and watch?
If your child is school-aged, you don’t need to stay and watch the class. However, for safety reasons, please make sure they are dropped off and picked up from inside the centre. We have viewing areas available in all our centres for those who wish to watch, or even catch up on work. We’d love to see you!
  • Can we try a class?
Of course! We’d love to offer you a free trial class. You can easily request one online, or just get in touch with us, and our Customer Service Team will be happy to help!
  • How many children are in each class?
Below are the maximum class sizes we allow: Sweet Peas: 6:1 to 8:1 GymZone: 8:1 NinjaZone: 6:1 Squad: 10:1 We take pride in keeping our class sizes small to ensure every gymnast receives the attention and support they need during their time in the gym.
  • Why two hour classes?
Our two hour classes provide gymnasts with the opportunity to explore all apparatus weekly. This extended gym time allows for accelerated progress and includes dedicated time for strength and flexibility training to support skill development. Gymnastics is a sport that typically demands extensive training hours to achieve advanced skills. With over 30 years of program development, we know that our two hour classes are enough for gymnasts to attain high level skills such as flips and saults during their time with us.
  • My child just passed a new coloured level. Do they need to move classes?
At Jets, we teach more than gymnastics! Our classes are thoughtfully designed to also meet your child’s developmental and social needs, ensuring they are continually engaged and challenged. So, when they achieve a new level, they will remain in their current class but will start learning a new set of skills on their journey towards achieving their next coloured t-shirt.
  • What if my child has an allergy or medical condition?
All Jets staff are trained in First Aid and CPR to ensure everyone's safety. If your child has a severe allergy or requires medication while at Jets Gymnastics, you can request a "Gym Joey" bag from a coach. This specially designed, highly visible bag is intended for safely storing necessary medication. By keeping it strategically placed, our coaches can provide quick assistance to your child as needed.
  • What should they wear? Do we need to bring anything?
We spend as much time on our hands as on our feet, so we recommend wearing comfortable, moveable clothing like activewear - and no shoes or socks. When you enrol, you’ll get your very own Jets gymnast t-shirt for free! Don’t forget to bring a water bottle. If you’re already a gymnast, be sure to wear your grey or coloured Jets t-shirt to class for added safety!
  • Are my fees adjusted if we miss a class for a public holiday?
Your monthly membership fee remains the same regardless of missed classes. While some months may include 3, 4, or 5 classes depending on the calendar, your fees remain consistent. Our fees are calculated yearly and then divided into monthly payments, which already account for the different weeks and holidays throughout the year. Your membership fee covers not just the classes, but also the other costs involved in keeping our gym running, like hiring permanent staff, providing specialised programming, and offering extra benefits such as free t-shirts, makeup classes, and open and holiday play sessions. These benefits are designed to help our members continue their training and stay on track, even if they miss a class.
  • When can we start? Do we need to wait for the next term?
At Jets, we don’t follow school terms, which means you can get started at any time throughout the year! Our classes are popular, and if there’s no space right away, we’ll add you to our waitlist and let you know as soon as a spot opens up.
  • What happens if we miss a class? Do we need to let you know?
We know life can get pretty busy! If you can’t make it to your regular class, just let us know at least three hours before it starts to receive a makeup token. Makeup tokens will be added to your account after the missed class once their coach has marked the rest of the roll. Tokens are valid for three months (90 days) from the date they’re issued.

  • Weather Cancellation
We are always doing our best to keep the gym cool and classes safe in the hot weather. We have air conditioning in all our locations running all day and we maximise airflow with factory doors. During class we take extra breaks, reducing the intensity of classes and modifying lesson plans, drinking lots of water and we even have spray bottles of water to keep the gymnasts cool which they also think is a bit of fun! Our hot weather guidelines are: Parent/Guardian Discretion: Attendance is at the discretion of parents/guardians up to a gym temperature of 39 degrees. Make-up tokens can be offered to those uncomfortable attending. Temperature Monitoring: One hour prior to class, the gym temperature is measured. If it reaches 40 degrees or higher and remains unchanged at the time of the class, classes will be cancelled. Notification of cancellation will be sent via text message.
