About Us.png

Jets Gymnastics has been proudly family-led since 2020, built on a strong belief in the power of positive coaching and community impact.

Owner James Devlin is passionate about creating environments where children thrive. As a parent of three, he has seen firsthand how supportive coaching builds confidence that extends beyond the gym into school, sport, and everyday life. James is also the author of A Positive Coaching Movement and leads the Positive Gymnastics Movement, which guides the club’s vision.

The Devlin family’s presence extends beyond Victoria to Western Australia, where James’ relatives play a key role in day-to-day leadership. Jets’ WA location, opened in July 2024 in the family’s hometown, has quickly become a hub for high-quality gymnastics. James’ two nieces compete for Team Jets at the highest state level.

Gymnastics runs deep in the Devlin family. James was introduced to the sport by his parents, Jan and Jack. Jan’s leadership in developing school-based programs has left a lasting impact on Australian sport, and both remain actively involved in the Jets community through the operations of Jan and Jack’s Café at the Neerabup location.

Jets is guided by a Board of Directors and CEO Aley, who has been part of the club since its earliest days, working closely with the Devlin family to establish strong values, clear expectations, and a positive, child-centred culture. Together, they have developed programs grounded in positive coaching principles and sports science research, supporting confidence, enjoyment, and long-term engagement in sport.

Supported by a dedicated leadership and coaching team, Jets creates environments where children grow into happy, kind, confident, and empowered individuals, all while having fun!
