The Jets High Performance Centre is also located in Eltham and has been designed to provide our Womens Artistic Gymnastics Competitive program with a state of the art training facility and quality training environment to match any Institute Program in the Country.
In April 2007 Jets Gymnastics commenced its very own Girls High Performance Centre such has been the demand and drive from within the girls program that within 3 years it has outgrown the capacity of our Brisbane Street address hence requiring us to develop a centre specifically for the purpose of training our Girls Competitive squads. It is amazing to think that just over 3 years ago our centre had 1 competitive gymnast (Harriet Adcock) and now we have over 100 aspiring young female gymnasts. My the effect you have had on this place Harriet !!!
We are exceptionally excited by this development in our centre and believe that such a venue provides us with the capacity to really reach the highest levels in gymnastics with now a great combination of exceptional coaching talent and enthusiasm, great facilities, time on all apparatus and most importantly many wonderful athletes. See Photo's below of this incredible centre including 7 brand new beams, new integrated sprung floor and vault, 8 sets of bars, two competition trampolines and quality heating system.

Diamond Creek - week 5
This week the builders were in to put together the flooring for underneath the sprung floor and vault areas. They worked very hard and got it all down in under 2 days, which left time for them to build our locker room and spotting platform for bars.

Diamond Creek - week 4
It is now 2012 and we have been back at Diamond Creek catching up on all the things we had planned to do before our other gyms flooded.
Christmas is over and it is nearly 2012. Four days ago we were hit with the storm and both Peel St and Brisbane St got flooded. Luckily Diamond Creek was barely affected, so we have been focusing on the clean-usoar Brisbane St in order to get it up and running before School Holiday Program starts.
Today was the day to pack up Peel st and bring everything we need over to Diamond Creek. Thank you to all the fabulous helpers that made the pack up so quick and easy. In the afternoon Ross Thomas and Mick Ostojic arrived with their trucks.
This week a truck load of equipment arrived from Coffs Harbour. Mat ‘the equipment guru' came with the equipment to help us get some of it installed. We started off with the bars in the pit and the trampolines. Mat and Steve did most the work while Ross and I mostly pointed at stuff!
It has been quite a busy term for all Jets venues throughout Term 4. Competitions, Display Days, Presentation Nights and prepara-tion for 2012 were just some of the reasons Term 4 has seem to fly by.
I would like to congratulate all venues on their efforts and prepa-rations leading up to their display days and in particular, congratu-late all coaches, gymnasts and families who participated on the day.
Well it has been another amazing year at the Jets High Performance Centre. The year started with a bang with our Squad Training Camp in January. This year the camp was held at Pinnacle Resort in Mansfield and was the best ever. The girls had an absolute ball whipping their bodies into shape with a variety of non-gymnastic activities such as swim-ming, boating, running, dancing.
Congratulations to Joanne Tassone who flew to Canberra this week to complete her Advanced Silver Level Judging course. Jo has had a meteoric rise through the judging ranks and is now our top qualified judge at Jets Gymnastics.
