I Can Man was very impressed by Dual Winter Olympian Liz Gardner's presentation at the 2011 ACHPER Conference held at Monash University on Thursday November 24th. Liz spoke passionately about the role gymnastics played in her career and how it helped her achieve the heights of not just one but two Olympic Games including reaching the finals of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics in Aerial Skiing.
Prior to this Liz was a gymnast for 10 years representing Victoria on 5 occasions and being crowned the 1998 Level 10 Champion. Liz (also a qualified teacher) believes firmly that every child should have the opportunity to do a gymnastics program in their school. Gymnastics programs form the basis of all movement and landings of all sports and thus providing these solid foundations should be a core program in every school. Trust Liz and give your students the best possible opportunities to fly through life - make sure your school gymnastics program is conducted every year.
