As we come up to the end of 2011, I’d like to take this oppor-tunity to thank all our gymnasts for all their hard work and dedica-tion throughout the year and especially their efforts for Display Day. A big thank you also goes out to all our wonderful parents for bringing your children each week (or several times a week!) and allowing them to join in all the activities, competitions and events gymnastics has to offer.
Congratulations to all our coaches and staff at Jets for pulling off such a great Display Day. A lot of time and hard work goes into planning, organising, choreo-graphing and running such a HUGE event and everyone has done such a fantastic job.
Farewell
We say farewell to Sara Niglia, trampolining coach and wish her all the best as she moves back to Shepparton. I’d also like to men-tion that Mat Steed, one of our valued head coaches, will no long-er be full time next year but will be continuing with Jets casual-ly. Harriet Adcock, also a current full time head coach, will be re-ducing her coaching considerably over Term 1 to complete private studies. Christie Baumgartner will be replacing Harriet for 3 months of her absence.
