Just under 3 months until our brand new High Performance Centre in Diamond Creek is offi-cially opened.
Years of planning, changes of plans, more changes of plans and meetings and it has come to this, our very own state of the art Gymnastics Venue.
At this stage, the venue is a blank canvas. We are expecting majori-ty of our new gymnastic equipment delivered in early-mid January. It will be all hands on deck during this period as we prepare the venue in order to commence classes in early February.
Stay tuned for a date of an official opening day hosted by council for VIPs and an open day for the gen-eral public, we’d love to see as many Jets families there to show your support.
Importantly, we will be opening a limited number of recreational classes at our new venue. If you’d like to find out more about clas-ses being held at our High Perfor-mance Venue , please see the front desk at Eltham
Overseas Recruitment
Jets Gymnastics Australia has recognised the difficulty our re-gional venues face when it comes to recruiting squad level coaches. Given the skill progress of our squad girls, the demand for expe-rienced squad coaches has never been greater.
In order to assist our venues, Jets Gymnastics Australia is currently working with the Department of Immigration with a view to em-ployee squad coaches from the USA and Canada. To date, inter-views have been held and we are in the process of completing vari-ous VISA documentation.
Depending on government pro-cesses, we hope to see a range of new squad coaches commence with our organisation in 2012.
Farewells
It is with sadness that we farewell
Jets Gisborne Programs Manager,
Amanda Eastwood. For two and a
half years, Amanda has worked
tirelessly on all programs at our
Gisborne venue. Amanda departs
Jets Gymnastics with a view to
find work closer to home in Ballarat.
On behalf of all the Staff at Jets
Australia, I wish Amanda all the
very best for the future.
As one door closes, another
opens. As a result of Amanda’s
pending departure, I would like to
congratulate Ruth Taylor who has
been appointed into the role left
by Amanda
In other sad news, Jets Gymnastics
Eltham will be losing Mathew
Steed from his Full Time Gymnastics
Coach position.
Mat will be venturing to Canada
for a couple of months and will be
returning to Jets Eltham in a casual
role.
In other movement, Jets Eltham
other Full Time Gymnastics
Coach, Harriet Adcock will be
taking the first 3 months off in
2012 to focus on completing her
studies, however, will be returning
Full Time to Jets in Term 2
Payment Options in 2012
In keeping up with technology,
Jets Gymnastics will be trialing
new payment strategies incorporating
the wonderful world wide
web!!
We will be continuing to offer
early payment discounts, however,
these discounts will be based
on paying online by a certain
date. Customers will still have the
option of paying at the front desk,
but will not receive the same
discount.
Please keep an eye on all re enrolment
details for latest information
in 2012
Coinciding with new payment
options, Jets Gymnastics will be
trialing a new direct debit payment
system for Squad Customers
in 2012 with a view to implement
this system for all customers
later in the year.
Our new “Pay Before you Play”
approach will allow parents to
have the option of paying monthly
in advance or up front prior to
the commencement of the Term.
As stated, we will be trialing this
new system with a select customer
group and we hope it will be
fully implement in mid 2012.
Holiday Period
I’d like to end off the year by
wishing everybody a safe and
happy holiday period, whether
you’re staying at home or heading
away, please be safe over the
holidays and I look forward to
seeing all in 2012!
