This is the cornerstone of the Kidskills programs. Developed over 15 years by Lisa Shuck and Jan Devlin the program meets all
VELS outcomes whilst remaining fun for all the students and maintaining safety. The program provides a systematic way to
improve balance, coordination, upper body strength and basic gymnastic skills.
The skills learned include 3 safe landing techniques, rotation skills, posture development and teamwork activities. This program
is skill based and not equipment based. We do not bring in equipment such as bars, beams trampolines rather we use basic
mating supplied by the school to conduct our program. If the school has no equipment the program can skill be provided or for
a small additional charge we can arrange to bring a basic equipment package to your school.
This program is a great introduction to gymnastics and perfect for lower, middle and upper school children. The structure of the
program enables children to work at their own pace to achieve success. The innovative activities are building blocks that make
this program an excellent platform for the development of fundamental motor skills.
