I Can Man was very impressed by Dual Winter Olympian Liz Gardner's presentation at the 2011 ACHPER Conference held at Monash University on Thursday November 24th. Liz spoke passionately about the role gymnastics played in her career and how it helped her achieve the heights of not just one but two Olympic Games including reaching the finals of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics in Aerial Skiing.

The I Can man is very excited because Kidskills has moved to the fantastic venue Jets Gymnastics in Eltham. This is really amazing because there is lots of very cool equipment like Trampolines to jump on. There is also a massive pit full of foam and I Can Man loves to jump into the pit. I Can Man will now be able to go to lots more schools and deliver lots of FUN programs. |

I just recently watched the Olympics, Wow the competitors sure put on a great show!
I really liked the swimming. Michael Phelps from the USA won 8 Gold medals and Stephanie Rice from Australia won 3. What a fantastic achievement from these guys and from all the other swimmers who placed and swam Personal Best’s.
Even if you didn’t place, to all the swimmers and all other competitors from every country congratulations, you all qualified for the Olympics in Beijing. What an amazing achievement.
Watching the team march down Swanston Street was very exciting. Being able to get up close and personal with the team and pass on my congratulations definitely felt great to me and I’m sure they appreciated it too!
I am the I Can Man and I am here to bring you stories of Triumph over adversity. Remember to say “I CAN” and you could bring home GOLD too. |
